Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 15, 2026
Boston Global IT, LLC ("Boston Global IT," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at bostonglobalit.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors to the Site and to people who submit information through our contact form — it does not govern data we process on behalf of clients under a signed services agreement, which is handled under that agreement's own confidentiality and data-protection terms (including a Business Associate Agreement where the engagement involves protected health information).
01Information you give us
When you submit our contact form or book a call, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, work email address, company name, job title, project details, estimated budget or timeline, and any message content you include.
02Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, we and our analytics providers — currently our hosting provider's built-in analytics (Lovable), and we may also use Google Analytics — automatically collect standard technical and usage data, such as pages viewed, referring website, approximate location (country/region), browser and device type, and page performance. This data is collected through cookies or similar technologies. Where required by law, we will ask for consent before non-essential cookies are set.
03How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- respond to your inquiry and evaluate potential engagements;
- maintain records of our business communications;
- operate, secure, and improve the Site;
- understand how visitors use the Site (in aggregate, via analytics); and
- send you information you've requested, such as a follow-up to your inquiry.
We do not use contact-form submissions for unrelated marketing without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time (see Your choices and rights).
04How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with:
- service providers who help us run the Site or our business (for example, hosting, email, analytics, and CRM providers), under obligations to protect it and use it only to provide services to us;
- professional advisors (such as our attorneys or accountants), where necessary; and
- others, if required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
If Boston Global IT is ever involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information collected through the Site may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.
05Data retention
We keep information collected through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above — generally, for the duration of a potential or active business relationship plus a reasonable period afterward for our records, or as required by law — after which we delete or anonymize it.
06Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information we collect, consistent with the Massachusetts data security regulation (201 CMR 17.00) where applicable. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
07Your choices and rights
You can:
- ask us what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- opt out of non-essential communications from us at any time, by emailing us at the address below; and
- control cookies through your browser settings (this may affect how the Site functions).
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK, California, or another jurisdiction with its own privacy law, you may have additional or different rights under that law (for example, GDPR or CCPA/CPRA). Contact us using the details below, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.
Do Not Track. Our Site does not currently respond to 'Do Not Track' browser signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.
08Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
09International visitors
Boston Global IT is based in Massachusetts, USA, and information collected through the Site is processed in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
10Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
